TRAVELS WITH ST LUKE THE SURGEON

Five children set out together on a long journey to meet Saint Luke the surgeon, archbishop, scientist, and wonderful father, who loves every young child, every person who is sick and everyone who is suffering and in poverty. By plane, bus, river-boat and train, the group starts out from Crimea and gets to vast Siberia, where only the birds know how far you have to go to reach the end…they plunge into deep forests and find him in exile, living in a wooden hut covered in snow; in the darkness of a prison cell; in the surgery where he struggles to save lives, and in church where he attempts to cure souls.

This is a book for primary school children, parents and catechists, as well as for anyone who would like to find out about Saint Luke and his adventurous life.

It is accompanied by a board game for 2 to 6 players.
